p2 2nd concept:Light and shadow
Sydney Cash is a sculptor, painter and jeweler. His work is in collections worldwide, including MoMA in NYC, and Le Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts. He is based in Marlboro, New York.
With his light sculptures, Sydney manipulates light as if it were a solid, using mirrored panels to create radiant designs of illumination and shadow. These panels can transform an ordinary beam of light and a blank wall into a composite of design.

Project 2- FROZEN THE TIME
FROZEN THE TIME
Animated GIFs Cinemagraph by Jason Wang
This project is inspired to create four cinemagraphs while capturing a moment of thinking in time. The idea of cinemagraphs was first developed by British photographer Jamie Beck and motion graphics artist Kevin Burg. They combined the animated GIFs with digital photograph to elevate images to cinemagraphs and created something more than a photo but less than a video.
In this project, a series of four photos signify a time of reading and thinking. Each image signifies the moment time on reading, concentrating, thinking, and gracing. However, beyond the ordinary frame photograph, this project applies the motion-graphics moments into each image. Indeed, this project represents that the time of movements can breath into life by manual editing of GIF format photographs. Therefore, I believe that this project is not only drawing out a moment but also exploring that the movement of time can be frozen forever in photography.

project 2 1st concept - Still Photos With Subtle Motion
These are beautiful twist from somehow nasty animated Gif artworks with the use of high quality photos from modern photography, and the pioneer, Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg called it – Cinemagraph.
The review for these cinemagraph is pretty diverse. Some praised it as the revolution of Gif animation, some criticized it as an old form of animated Gif artwork with a new name. In either way, more photographers found cinemagraph interesting and made their first attempt.

Urbanization: Life with space
My concept inspires from the area I live. The pictures aim to signify a urban life style. People are concentrated in a small space rather than being spread out over a large territory.
